Mayweather Vs Marquez

Well the fight was well worth the wait if you wanted to see Money Mayweather physically amd mentally break another fighter down. Then come out of the fight without a scratch. Truly I don't know how this dude does it. His opponents always look like they have been in a war after the fight. I know Mayweather is heading to club right after all his fights. But overall it was a good fight even though from the round 1 to 12 mayweather dominated . We all witnessed it over at young LA's new casa. A beautiful brown stone . Listen folks if it isn't the size of the crib its how you dress it meaning interior design that gives it life. I must say so far he is on the right track. Maybe when its finshed I tell take you on MTV cribs tour .

Uptown Turns "5"

On tues me and my big homie Al attended Uptown Magazine 5th anniversary party. If you have attend any Breakfast club or Minority Report events this past summer you have seen me Keith aka"Major "or Big homieAl giving you a free copy of the mag. We have been working with Uptown for a while now . Don't worry we got something special in the works with Uptown that will be very special. The was hot and I mean hot all them black folks in there. You know we attract heat. lol But we look good doing it. The night was overall a success alot of beautifull people came out of the wood works that night and it was just a tues. Wow you got to love New york. But the women didn't leave nothing at home that night they all came correct. I couldn't belive the people I was seeing in there. I went to college in N.C and I was seeing people from my school there. Oh Aggie Pride !!!!!(North Carolina A&T )Homecoming at the end of this month and I amd there. But yeah thats how big Uptown is getting it reaching out all across the country. Congrats to Uptown for being in the game for 5 years and I hope you are in it for 5 more years.

Eric Roberson At Aspen

Last Week i attend aspen as usual but this time was very specials one of coolest neo soul/ R&B artist to hit the scene came buy to do a listening of his new album. The Minority Report and Dirty Debutante out did themselves this time. Yes folks Eric Roberson the man I am talking about . If you don't know about him let me scool you on the artists this man has written for Raheem Devaughn, Raphel Sadiq, Music and the list goes on . This was my second time see him . I caught a show of his about 2 0r 3 years back. I can't remeber i got a bad memory. Well anyways he puts on live act like no other. He draws you in and kills you with soulful joints all night. With that he also freestyles and puuts and aspect, person or thisn into his routine. It is something special to watch.

The every tues night event was buzzing with all the fans ready to see Eric sing his hits. The event was all around good. Alot of people came out actor Anthony Mackie (Spike Lee's "She Hate Me" & 2pac in "Notorious") w/ Joi Styles, and Amanda Diva and artist Concep. The night was very special.

V-day Forever

(A Lust For Life)

Now were do I start, Virgos i think are so special in there own right. As Drizzy Drake would say we got a lust for life. We are passionate, loyal and truthfull. Thats what we bring to the table. We are all that in one package . There is no other sign like us sooner than later we will be be the blueprint of what people call a "Speacial person" . I know I just went in sorry I am a virgo, I had to. Anyways the Bday celebration "Word To Every Virgo I love" was monumental. Lets see the run down of birthdays Big Homie Al of the Minority Report, Dj Miss Siagon, The Forever Young Boy Keith aka Major of the Breakfast Club, Tati Amare, Tara Johnson and Linda Lee of Dirty Debutante and latly Keisha Million. But the list of people that have a september bday will go on forever. The party was crazy the Miss Siagon ripped it down to the basics. Thats the way you rock a party. Everyone came out in there best. Overall if you missed out you missed out. But there is always next year. Hint someone will be turning that monumental moment age every 20 something hates to see but this person is gladly embrassing it becasue its the same shit but different day. Bk Bike Ride Recap
Ok folks I know I am a little late with the recap but better late then never. So let me see if I can recollect this very fun and rememorable day. It was beautiful day first of all. You couldn't off planned a better day. The sun was shining but not to hot. You would of thought all of brooklyn was out in the parks that day. Breakfast Club and Minority Report was out on there bikes from Prospect park all the way to Dumbo.We were greeted by a nice picnic. Here we got together and had lots of fun with twister, football, frisby, and numerous other games. The birthday girl Isis had one the best bdays I think anyone could have. But overall a good outing. So next year look out for the BK bike Bridgade again for our soon to be annual bike ride and picnic.

The BK Bike Brigade presents...

The 1st Annual "Take It To The Streets" 10 Mile Ride

Roll with us as we take it to the streets to help combat childhood obesity. Join the BK Bike Brigade (THE coolest crew of bikers this side of the Brooklyn Bridge) on Saturday, August 29th* at 1pm for a 10 mile bike ride through Brooklyn followed by a picnic at ProspectPark in Brooklyn.
* The Rain Date will be Sunday, August 30th at 1pm
Fee: $13 (includes Picnic/lunch)

RIDE DAY DETAILS

The "Take It To The Streets" 10 Mile Ride will be a moderately paced fun and scenic ride through Prospect Park, Bed-stuy, Williamsburg and Dumbo. Bikers of all levels are welcome.
Check in/Departure will be at the Prospect Park Entrance @ Grand Army Plaza
Check In: 12:30pm (You will need your eventbrite printout to check-in & pick up your wristband for the BK Bike Brigade picnic)
Departure: 1pm Sharp

Suggestion Of Thing To Bring On Ride Day
* Helmet: required by NY law for children under 14, strongly encouraged for all
* Water bottles filled with water
* Extra tire tube: check for the size on your tire
* Pump, tire levers and patch kit (also an adjustable wrench if your wheels are not quick release)
* NYC street & subway map
* A lock for your bike

HOW TO GET TO GRAND ARMY PLAZA

Via Subway Take 2/3 train to Grand Army Plaza station. You can get precise Directions via http://www.blogger.com/. Check with ww.mta.info or 311 to make sure 2/3 trains are running on normal schedule.
Please note you ride at your own risk so please take all the proper safety precautions. In addition make sure you bike is in good condition, before going on this ride we suggest you take your bike to a bike shop for a tune up.

ROUTE

We will meet at Grand Army Plaza and bike the prospect park loop which is 3.4 miles and will leave us back on Grand Army, where we will then bike down Vanderbilt to Dean to Bedford Ave which is about 1 mile. We will bike Bedford to Bburg which is approx 2.4 miles, then bike back to Bed-stuy along Wythe which turns to Franklin (approx 1.5 miles). At Dekalb we will bike back to Prospect Park , Brooklyn which is 2.75 miles. So in total we are biking 10 miles, which should take about 60 min to 90 min based on peoples pace.
We will need about 8 people to act as volunteer marshals for the ride. 2 to lead the group, 2 to act as the tail, making sure no one gets left behind and 2 sets of 2 to bike the route acting as a safety cell and to answer questions or help folks out. It would also be helpful if a couple of folks know how to change out a flat tire. There are a couple of bike shops not to far off our route so I will make this list available to riders, should folks get a flat or need air.
I would suggest we (including volunteer marshals) do a trial ride the week of so we are aware of any construction, street closures, potholes, etc.
