Wow it has been a full year that the Breakfast club has joined forces with 7 other entites and come together to form the Block association. The Monority Report, Ahficionados, Stylistic Agency, Sound Proof Int'l , Harriets Alter Ego all combine to make the Block Association. All together creatively have thought out the box and brought to the Brooklyn community and the NY nightlife scene events that have been memorable and never forgetable. To name a few Monster ball ( Halloween) Casino Royale ( New Yerars Eve) Fashion 500, and Flashing ligts and the list goes on and on. I must say and really am proud to say that the Breakfast club is proud to be apart of these 7 individuals lives and hope that we can continue our reign in bringing speciasl events to our friends,family and loyal followers.

Ok the sun the is coming out allergy season is over. Its time to hit the beaches, get the tanks and flip flops out. Well first make sure the feet are correct!! Being in all winter wearing all those boots, I know some of you didnt keep up with those claws you call feet up to standard. The offical kick off to summer weekend is memorial day weekend. You remember when you were younger and you went on those family road trips down to florida or virgina and you stayed at the comfy Holiday In. You had the best time jumping on the beds and making ice runs.Well the Block Assoc alongside the Breakfast Club is bringing back that same fun and family atmosphere for all of us New Yorkers that are staying around town this year. Rock & Bowl the Recap

Wow were do I start, it was an all around rocking night from start to finish. I must definitely give a round of applause to all the performers that night. Malik Yoba, Malene, Man on Earth, and GAME REBELLION. All these performers played there asses off that night. But lets recap form the beginning. One of the buzzing questions before the evening even started and really from the minute we announced that he( Malik Yoba) was performing, everyone was asking "what is he going to do? ". Well folks he came, we saw and he delivered. As a relative beginner to the performing scene Mr Yoba really showed us he had a little hidden talent within him. He really came to Brooklyn Bowl and showed us that he can sing. The Block Assoc. alongside Breakfast Club Socials Would like to congratulate and thank him for coming thru.

Now on to Ms Malene looking like a super hero in her leopard print cat suit and red pumps. She came to save our minds, hearts and souls. Malene brought the house down worth her eclectic style of sing rap. It was a sight to see here in person as beautiful as she was, her music was even more beautiful and powerful. The message of freeing your mind was definitely bestowed upon us by her that night.

MALENE

The surprise of the night was the no name band that was brought in the man with the gray beard Frei. Man on Earth, I must say this band won me and the crowd over by the end of there set. At first it was a little dry spot in there performance and we were like they music sounds good but we just ain't feeling you. But when lead singer Alex Polaris started to work the crowd we all in the building welcomed them with open arms. By the end of there show they had all the females on stage taking in part of the madness that they were bringing to Rock & Bowl.

MAN ON EARTH

The main attraction of the night was the last but the well worth the wait. GAME REBELLION,what is there not to say about them. Game killed it from start to finish, from the rotta to the tootta. Whatever you want to call it they rocked Brooklyn Bowl that night like no band has ever rocked out. Game came on with a burst of confetti and hit the stage 100mph. They went thru a rendition of songs that had everyone of the floor but I mean literally because as soon as they started to hit a fever pitch a mosh pit started to form and the blows were coming from left and right. It was a sight to see well my first matter a fact. At one point in there act they split the crowd into two and had them singing along with self titled track named GAME REBELLION. Wow is all i have to say seeing how they mastered the crowd and got everyone interactive with there set. Lead vocalist Nectic was all over the place on top of exits to in the crowd banging on drums. Yohimbe lead guitarist had some type of ostrich feathers on his back . It was a show that a must have to see. Game really showed there ass off that night.

GAME REBELLION

Rock & Bowl was and overall success but don't think it will stop there we have more in store for you the people for the summer of 2010. keep a look out for the acts that we will be bringing to Brooklyn Bowl. Also with memeorial day coming up the Blcok has your weekend planned already with the Holiday Inn on May 30th. Keep look out for adv. tickets coming soon.

Wow where do i start, well of course the event if I do say so myself was a success. All party goers came out with the best of there best outfits for evening like no other. It was good to see young classy black, white, hispanic indiduals come out and have fun togehter. The Block association is bringing you events like no other. LA, Dj Trauma( Soundproof Int'l), Ahificinados ( Dj Frei), Big Al ( M reporter), Keith aka Major BreakfastClub Socials) silky valente ( Soundproof Int'l)and Ngozi ( Harriets Alter Ego) are the team that makes up the Block Association. First and formost we here on the block would like to thank Lavie Clothing and Uptown Magazine for its participation in this event. But back to the festivites, it was a non stop party all night from start to finish and we didnt finish till the sun came up. So you know we know how to get down. But I know I was highly missed but not forgotten. the breakfast club is back with a new attiude and lots of great events are awaiting your viewing pleasure for the spring and summer season. Well I know you would like to hear, hear it how it go. the breakfast Club has joined forces with severl other promotion teams to create a mighty voltron. We joined together to form The Block Association. As you have seen since last october you've attended/heard about through word of mouth ("BK All Day"-July 4th, "Monsters Ball"-Halloween Night, "Casino Royale"-New Year's Eve, "My Uber Sunday"-Super Bowl Sunday) you understand the direction we're going in... So in that this easter we have something very speacial in store for you this coming easter weekend.

Yes its that time again when all of america is glued to there TV's for the biggest game of the year. Yes the Superbowl is here again. On Feb 7th the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints will play in the last game of the season. Capsule one of the most well known tradeshows out had its annual showing last week right here in our great city. Of courseyou know the Breakfast Club had to attend. The night was clear and the weather was "A" ok. So you everyone was going to be out in there most fashionable attire for this event. I must say this is my most favorite tradeshow becasue of the level of fahion that is being kept inside those 4 walls. The best brand that day had to be Carlos Campos. I think Carlos has gained a new fan. The assymetrical jackets for the fall season is something that is a must in the closet. His new 3 quater length coats and suits are exquiste. The new price points are made to be more afforable but still a little exclusive. A full suit that is jacket and pants will run you about $630 and the 3 quater trench with cost roughly $430. There was other stand outs from is tradeshow, Creative Recreation Select had footwear for the fall that was military inspired but made in italy. This footwear brand has come along way from in conception a few years ago. Some other new up and coming european brands soming out with accesories and clothing are Local Firm and Cutler and Grass. Local Firm which is a swedish brand that tries to keep one foot in the street and one foot in fashion is coming with a brand that can appeal to the fashion and the street minded individual. Cutler and Grass is a british brand that is produces eyewear that you see on your favorite stars. But overall there was so many brands if you were not there you missed out but we did catch some exclusive photos just for your viewing pleasure.

Ok socialites I know the Club has been away for a min but we were getting our bodies right which entails getting your mind right. So with that we embarked on a new journey thru the world of spinning. Now I know your asking yourselfs "What is spinning?" Well lets give you a short history lessson into spinning and what it is. Spinning techincally known as indoor cycling is a high intesity workout that involves stationary bicycles ina classroom setting. Ultra-endurance athlete Jonathan Goldberg developed the concept of indoor cycling classes in the 1980s. Subsequently, a trademarked program (Spinning) . A typical class involves a single instructor at the front of the class who leads the participants through routines that are designed to simulate terrain and situations similar to riding a bike outdoors. Some of the movements and positions include hill climbs, sprints and interval training. A well-trained instructor uses music, motivation and enthusiastic coaching to lead students through a ride that best suits their fitness level and goals.

Well the club dived right in and has been taking spinning for a couple of months and we love it. The intensity and the drive it brings to you during a class is like no other. We even went out and tried one of the most well known spinning classes in the city. The Studio NYC is a well known spinning studio on the upper eastside. The Studio NYC is a no gimmicks straight up spinning class for all levels of spinning.

So with that said the Breakfast club is bringing the Studio to all you socialites that love to work out. Yes, on wed Feb 10th 2010 at 6:30 pm Spin For LIfe will be finally happening. James one the studios best instructors will be giving a ride thru the streets and hills on the city. This will be something new in the social party scene that will incorparates getting fit mind , body and soul along with meeting new and interesting people.

Where do I start from the doors opened at 9pm the party goers didn't stop coming till we closed the doors at 5am. Wow this was a party for the ages. Didn't I tell you this was going to be something monumental. This was going to be better the Diddy at LQ's a few weeks ago. This was one of the most stylish events that the Breakfast club has been apart of. The block association brought you and EVENT. Yes an event not a party. The fashion for the night was impeccable from the ladies with there dresses to the gents sporting the bow ties and Windsor knots. But on this particular occasion we are spreading the word of exhibit that is being opened at the Philadelphia Museum Of Art . Marcel Wanders exhibition Called "Day Dreaming". No you ask who is Marcel Wanders well he is a Dutch Designer that was named to the Top 50 design icons. Mr wanders is a architectural and interior design artist that has worked Europe's most influential projects. Designing for the biggest European contemporary design manufacturers like B&B Italia, Bisazza, Poliform, Moroso, Flos, Boffi, Cappellini, Droog Design and Moooi of which he is also art director and co-owner. Various designs of Marcel Wanders have been selected for the most important design collections and exhibitions in the world, like the Museum of Modern Art in New York and San Francisco, the V&A Museum in London, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam, the Central Museum in Utrecht, Museum of Decorative Arts Copenhagen and various Droog Design exhibitions.

Mr Marcel Wanders is creating an extraordinary exhibition that captures all his work over his career. Alot of us are unaware that one day there might not be any garment district. Do to real estate pressures and new zoning laws alot of the garment industry business are being moved out and commercial businesses are moving in. Fashion HQ's and trimmers and suppliers have occupied the midtown area for over a century. You know without the garment district all these fabulous clothing lines we love, cherish and die for would not be prevalent. We need to all take account and save the garment district. Its a staple in NY's linage. If there was no garment district it would be like NY without soho. That would be crazy!!!! Ok socialites the club has been in the gym for almost 2 months now and everything is going great. The " Go Hard or Go Home" workout plan is working miracles. Oh yeah for 29.95 you to can have the "Go Hard or Go Home" workout plan and if you email me back right now you will get the new special price of Free.99 yes I said it Free.99!!! Well back to the gym, now in the gym do you have those people that just don't know gym etiquette. Now when I say gym etiquette I mean the sweaty individuals that don't wipe down the equipment when finished, people that use the cell phone while in the gym and finally smelly individuals in smelly clothes.

First lets tackle the clubs pet peeve which is cell phone usage inside the gym. We don't have a problem with using the cell phone inside the gym. But when it becomes a loud conversation or and argument please talk it outside or to the locker rooms. Don't you just hate when your focused on the bench or the treadmill and there is someone next to you smacking away on there phone with there ex- boy or girlfriend about who should get what and that its over. It is just very "tacky" ( i love this word it can be used so many ways). It just makes you look very stupid putting your business all out on front street. Keep the cell phone usage to a minimum or just leave the phone in the bag and concentrate on loosing that 10lbs.

Now for those sweaty individuals, OK I am one of those. I am sorry i don't feel like I have worked out if I don't get a good sweat on. It makes me feel like I did something in the gym today. But there are gym goers that are not considerate of others and leave machines all sweaty. That's not cool at all, no ones wants to lie in or touch your sweat. That's "DISGUSTING!!!" as my better half would say. Please just wipe down your equipment or bring your own towel to lay on or wipe down the equipment.

Ok lets just talk about personal hygiene when it comes to the gym. I know most of you think nobody ever will smell you in the gym.But your wrong there just some smells that can not be ignored in the gym. Ok I would say i do wear tights under my pants and wear them for 2 days but I do wash them after that. But there are alot of people that wear the same sweatshirt or t-shirt in the gym and carry that funky odor. So in that folks please wash your gym clothes when you feel they are carrying odor . Better yet go out and get more gym clothes so you don't have to wear the same thing twice.

These are the clubs gym etiquette rules, please take heed and follow them wisely. They will definitely help you out in the long run. The club has a little treat for you also. Here at the club we take club aesthetics very serious were you workout should be to your liking. But hey we know its a recession and we all can't afford all the immaculate amenities of these plush gyms. The breakfast club has a solution to that problem. Well atleast for 3 days, hey its better then nothing.

Ok back to the lesson at hand, lets go thru the custom-suit process.You choose from an array of suiting options (are you a two- or a three-button guy?) and 150 or so luxe fabrics, from wool to cashmere/silk blends. You get measured; then you sit back while your suit is handmade at the label's atelier in Milan. Four to six weeks later, you'll have a perfect-fitting suit, complete with a handstitched label bearing your name.

New York To Expensive??

Ok this has been bothering me for a while so I have to get it off my chest and see what you socialites think about this. Do you think living in the best city in the world or the city that never sleeps is just getting to expensive. I know it has crossed your mind once or twice in the past year or so with this whole recession thing. Well I know i have contemplated moving down south and getting my southern hospitality on. But I love this great city to much. You know how the saying goes " You can make here you can make it anywhere". But is that really even true anymore. I was reading in the metro the other day and I seen this astonishing comparisson between NY and ATL. A $60,000 salary buys the same standard of living as someone making $26,092 in Atlanta, according to the Center for an Urban Future. Now that is crazy!!! How do you not think about jumping ship and head down south. According to Cost of Living Survey from Mercer New York City went from place 22 in 2008 to 8th most expensive city in the world in 2009. Up 14 places in just one year. It is way ahead of US’s second most expensive city Los Angeles on a shared 23rd. This just makes you wonder can you really do it here or are the odds really against you if you are not a six figure income holder or better yet a millionaire. You be the judge???

What Is Fashion? What is Art

What is fashion or what is art ? The question just roles around in my head. Are they too that much alike or are they to much apart. Well contrary to popular belief they are much alike. They border the same realm, which is creativity, spirituality (fashion and art are believed to be a way of life), and last but not least difference( abstract, not of the norm, whatever you want to call it). This is how I feel when I see clothing or when I see art. There are many artists out there but one strikes a major cord in me. His name is Vasily Kandinsky the aesthetic theorist and pioneer abstract artist. He was an artist that didn't use the obvious. He wanted you to look past the regular observations of everyday life or the external world. He strove to give his paintings a freedom from nature that he admired in music. Kandinsky was an intricate part in the Development of the Solomon Paige Guggenheim Museum where 100 of his pieces are being exhibited . His works of art are not only housed in the museum, they were the inspiration in the architectural design of the building . The building was designed by Frank Llyod, this was one of his greatest and proudest achievements.

Kandinsky hand 6 main themes that his artwork is derived from Horse and Rider, Apocalypse, Landscape, Music, Geometry, and Scientific Imagery. His dream of fostering a better and spiritual future era through trans formative power is symbolized through an energetic hoarse carrying its lonely rider. Many of his themes have different meanings which can be better explained in person if you go out and see these works of art for yourself. They are being showed at the Guggenheim Museum till Jan 13Th, 2010. Please Stimulate your mind and do something different from the regular mundane conventional stuff that you do every weekend.

As usual every month Target puts on Ist saturdays at the BK museum . But this month there was a special show caseing on "Who Shot Rock" a photo synosis from 1955 to present. Well me and my man Big Al from The Monority report went to go check it out. In usual you seen all the brooklyn socialites out and about gaining all the culture Brooklyn has to offer. The showcasing was very informative. I saw pictures of Run DMC and Salt n Pepa and Spinderalla. I would have never thought they would be considered for this expose. But unicorn I think of the night was this one of jay-z and diddy. There was alot to look at that night. Socialites ok I have added another hat to the array of hats on the breakfast club hat rack. Over this weekend I was feeling in a good mood an decided to go out and have drinks. But knowing me I am in no way picky, happy hour at Friday's will do for me.Dam!!! you can't beat $4 L.I.T's anywhere in this beautiful city. But this week was a long long one and i wanted to enjoy the fruits of my labor.So me and the misses went out on the town to enjoy ourselves.

Our destination for the night was the infamous blue lighted hotel called Dream located on 55th and 8th. OK where do we start this is my first time criticizing anything besides people walking in the street. Don't front you know you do that to. Well here i go lets see, we are going good to best level ranging from 1 to 5 but using breakfast club stars. Also we will give you price range scale just in case you have a friend you want to take out or just want hang out on the town one night.

First off the venue was well put together. The interior design of this bar/lounge area was very Martha Stewartish but with a touch of nightlife added to it. The Bar area i would was more of the nightlife area but the lounge upstairs was targeted more towards an intimate setting.

Now we are on to the food/drinks and service portion of the review. OK first let me say service was impeccable. It was prompt and inviting, meaning they caught the drinks coming and conversed with us on a personal level to make us feel at home. The drinks were great, they gave you a variety of drinks to try from at reasonable prices. The food was well prepared maybe take a Little to long but it wasn't bad our waitress kept us off that with her hostess skills. Overall not an expensive night. Dream gets ( $$$ ) for drinks and appetizers for the night.

Now for the most important thing of the night, the piece de resistance which is the bathroom. After all that eating and drinking you will definitely need to use the bathroom. Ok sorry to say for well designed establishment . I must say the bathroom was very poor. I didn't see any creativity or effort into the space. It was just one of those we putting it here because customers need to use it. Well I will let you see for yourself, it wasn't that pretty.

Ok Folk Tonight is a special saturday night. Target Alongside the Brooklyn museum presents it monthly 1st saturday free installment viewing of all the artwork inside the museam. This month their is an exhibition on "Who Shot Rock and Roll: A photographic history 1955 to the present. The viewing will be until Jan 31st with indie rock performances and dicussions. Making it even more specials this month there will be a showing of the worldly classic and cult favorite "PURPLE RAIN". The viewing of the movie will start at 7. So you know everyone and there mama will be there to see this. So for all of you non-prince lovers or just don't know nothing about prince, which I think is impossible should come out and see this movie.

MONSTERS BALL REVIEW

Ok here we go with the recap of one of the best Halloween parties of all time. Were do I start, ok the night started in crazy fashion with a line down the block. A little rain didn't stop our Halloween party goers from coming out and showing off there creative costumes. I must say there were some real creative customs that night. Even the prince of Zumunda came out with his deputy and rose petal girls. You almost heard the drums and horns when they were walking in. If I must say I think it was the best costume of the night. OK back to the party, the line was getting crazy dumb long but we handled it in good fashion. Now to the main event, the party was off the meat rack, the rickter scale, what ever you want to call it when a party is jumping to capacity. Yes I said it capacity, we reached capacity level about 12:30 - 1:00am . It was so crazy in there, we had all three floors rocking all night. The extra icing on the cake for the night was that time went back at 1am so we got an extra our of partying. Boy when I tell we were going in that night I am not lieing. It was just night you shouldn't have missed and if you did please do not sleep on it again. We gets it popping in Brooklyn !!!! Wow shout to all constributers to a stupendous night, The Mighty Brooklyn Circus ( Wig, Bevin ), The Monority Report (Big Al), Harriets AlterEgo ( Ngozi), The Stylestics ( LA- La) And The Breakfast Club ( Keith Aka "Major" ). Also big shout out to DJ Goldfinger, DJ Trauma, the Ahficionados, & BKC's DJ Kohei, Hostess with the mostess Silky Valente. They made it a memorable night. Fight Night

Mayweather Vs Marquez

Well the fight was well worth the wait if you wanted to see Money Mayweather physically amd mentally break another fighter down. Then come out of the fight without a scratch. Truly I don't know how this dude does it. His opponents always look like they have been in a war after the fight. I know Mayweather is heading to club right after all his fights. But overall it was a good fight even though from the round 1 to 12 mayweather dominated . We all witnessed it over at young LA's new casa. A beautiful brown stone . Uptown Turns "5"

On tues me and my big homie Al attended Uptown Magazine 5th anniversary party. If you have attend any Breakfast club or Minority Report events this past summer you have seen me Keith aka"Major "or Big homieAl giving you a free copy of the mag. We have been working with Uptown for a while now . Don't worry we got something special in the works with Uptown that will be very special. The was hot and I mean hot all them black folks in there. You know we attract heat. lol But we look good doing it. The night was overall a success alot of beautifull people came out of the wood works that night and it was just a tues. Wow you got to love New york. But the women didn't leave nothing at home that night they all came correct. I couldn't belive the people I was seeing in there. I went to college in N.C and I was seeing people from my school there. Oh Aggie Pride !!!!!(North Carolina A&T )Homecoming at the end of this month and I amd there. But yeah thats how big Uptown is getting it reaching out all across the country. Congrats to Uptown for being in the game for 5 years and I hope you are in it for 5 more years.

Last Week i attend aspen as usual but this time was very specials one of coolest neo soul/ R&B artist to hit the scene came buy to do a listening of his new album. The Minority Report and Dirty Debutante out did themselves this time. Yes folks Eric Roberson the man I am talking about . If you don't know about him let me scool you on the artists this man has written for Raheem Devaughn, Raphel Sadiq, Music and the list goes on . This was my second time see him . I caught a show of his about 2 0r 3 years back. I can't remeber i got a bad memory. Well anyways he puts on live act like no other. He draws you in and kills you with soulful joints all night. With that he also freestyles and puuts and aspect, person or thisn into his routine. It is something special to watch.

The every tues night event was buzzing with all the fans ready to see Eric sing his hits. The event was all around good. Alot of people came out actor Anthony Mackie (Spike Lee's "She Hate Me" & 2pac in "Notorious") w/ Joi Styles, and Amanda Diva and artist Concep. The night was very special.

Now were do I start, Virgos i think are so special in there own right. As Drizzy Drake would say we got a lust for life. We are passionate, loyal and truthfull. Thats what we bring to the table. Bk Bike Ride Recap
Ok folks I know I am a little late with the recap but better late then never. So let me see if I can recollect this very fun and rememorable day. It was beautiful day first of all. You couldn't off planned a better day. The sun was shining but not to hot. You would of thought all of brooklyn was out in the parks that day. Breakfast Club and Minority Report was out on there bikes from Prospect park all the way to Dumbo.We were greeted by a nice picnic. Here we got together and had lots of fun with twister, football, frisby, and numerous other games. The birthday girl Isis had one the best bdays I think anyone could have. But overall a good outing. So next year look out for the BK bike Bridgade again for our soon to be annual bike ride and picnic.

The "Take It To The Streets" 10 Mile Ride will be a moderately paced fun and scenic ride through Prospect Park, Bed-stuy, Williamsburg and Dumbo. Bikers of all levels are welcome.

HOW TO GET TO GRAND ARMY PLAZA

Via Subway Take 2/3 train to Grand Army Plaza station. You can get precise Directions via http://www.blogger.com/. Check with ww.mta.info or 311 to make sure 2/3 trains are running on normal schedule.
Please note you ride at your own risk so please take all the proper safety precautions. In addition make sure you bike is in good condition, before going on this ride we suggest you take your bike to a bike shop for a tune up.

ROUTE

We will meet at Grand Army Plaza and bike the prospect park loop which is 3.4 miles and will leave us back on Grand Army, where we will then bike down Vanderbilt to Dean to Bedford Ave which is about 1 mile. We will bike Bedford to Bburg which is approx 2.4 miles, then bike back to Bed-stuy along Wythe which turns to Franklin (approx 1.5 miles). At Dekalb we will bike back to Prospect Park , Brooklyn which is 2.75 miles. So in total we are biking 10 miles, which should take about 60 min to 90 min based on peoples pace.
We will need about 8 people to act as volunteer marshals for the ride. 2 to lead the group, 2 to act as the tail, making sure no one gets left behind and 2 sets of 2 to bike the route acting as a safety cell and to answer questions or help folks out. It would also be helpful if a couple of folks know how to change out a flat tire. There are a couple of bike shops not to far off our route so I will make this list available to riders, should folks get a flat or need air.

The night was a success even though the gods were raing on us all day. Thsi summer were are will accustomed to the reain. So it will never spoil our friday nights. At 9:OO the line was already forming and people were ready to get there party on. I must say the loft we had choosen for this party gave it that artsy downtown Ny feel. Die Fabrik was perfect in every way, now On to the Party. It was a specials Bday party for Ngozi of Harriets Alter Ego. The night was even more special because Metro Pcs Came out and provided some much needed in this day and age cheap affordable phones. DJ's Jasmine Solano, Frei, Trauma, and Silky all took turns making the dance floor move at one point in the night. While Keith (of the Breakfast Club) did the door list duties. It was over all a great night. If you missed this one you just missed out.

The night was crazy from start to finish . The line was from here to I don't know where it just never stopped. Lets start from the begging the bbq was on point. Butterfly Prod which catered the food put there foot in the chicken so to speak not literally. That would be down right nasty. All the venders that came thru and sold there merchandise had to make a killing. The amount of people out there was crazy. Then butch Diva came with the sexy ladies in the Fashion portion of the evening. I must say she made want to cop some stuff for girls i know that are stylish. Now on to the main event the party portion of the even. the door got even more crazy. Me, Youndg LA and the Dapper silky Valente can atest for the the beauitful ladies that were on the line. DJs Sakir, Jasmine Solano, Trauma, the Ahficinados, Will, and Goldfinger taking turns on the tables made the evening a rememberable night. It was all and all a beautiful night full of many different reaces and walks of life in there. Shout out to the Green Lounge for being a hospital club. Even though it seemed as if a monsoon came thru and drenched our great city.We trooped out from the rocks we call homes out to have a good time. But we as New Yorkers aren't afraid of a little rain. We party in any weather, literally in any weather!!!! Dj Miss saigon and Long Island's Finest DJ Mello were providing the hottest music in the city for our socialites. So next week make it a priority to come out. Checked the weather and we are suppose to really have that summer weather we have been dieing for.

The Club also attended our good and fellow party starter Jeremy Agarsi's Bday party at Hiro. Questlove was on th 1&2's ripping it up all night and the Retro Kids performed . Happy 30th Jeremey.

Spinning that night was our great house DJ The Ahficionados which started the night off on a high then the out of no where we have to guest DJ's that cam in and killed it. DJ Radio Rose and DJ Jasmine Solano were amazing, they both killed it on the !1& 2's. It was a very special night for the ladies girl power was at its highest level that night. At the evenings end we presented the meanest shoes of the night to Nubia De Leon. It was a unanimous decision, she had the meanest shoe game for the night. Omg!!! were do I start the first initial Homecoming with of course many more to come was crazy. I thought everybody and there mama plus grandma and grandchildren was there. Wow!!! The Breakfast Club brought a party like no other last night. It was so cray Ahficionados started the night out and got the party to its peak level. Then we had a special surprise for or begging to be loyal partygoers. DJ Goldfinger came on the 1&2's and wrecked shop . Brooklyn has not seen the likes of an event of this caliber since back in the day. Gold finger killed it, we great appreciate him coming back to his old stomping grounds. This was DJ Goldfingers first time DJing in his home borough. The night was filled with everyone from all over the city and all races. We all partied till 4am like it was 1999. This is what the Breakfast club is going to be bringing events like this each and every month through this whole summer so look for our next event "Homecoming Memorial Day Weekend"
