Movie review - Ninja Assassin

Review : Ninja Assassin

Ok where to start, oh this is a automatic kung-fu classic. First of all when club says that this is the best martial arts movie we have ever seen, we are not lieing. the main concept of the movie is young orphaned children are being taken off the streets an trained into assassins by ninja clans. Raizo wants revenge against the clan for killing his first friend and maybe love.
The movie is and martial arts master piece. The different styles of martial arts and weaponry in this movie is on a next level. But be prepared to see alot of blood. The club doesn't suggest the little ones should see this one. The material is real graphic and they def will be sleeping with you that night. The main character Raizo also known by rain gives an outstanding performance. But overall the club gives it:

So put aside your $22.50 and check this classic kung-fu movie out

The BreakFast Club Corner
Remember the good old days when gambling and partying till the sun came up was all what it should be. Looking cool and debonair was easy as just undoing your bow and unbutton that first button. Coming out of your warm an toasty apartment or house which ever you may live in with your bow tie already undone and top button open is beyond (here i am saying it again) "tacky". Book of the Month- Unpacking My Library

UnPacking My Library

Well the we don't know if you ever heard the saying "Tripping without the luggage" meaning that you are spacing out or your are not all there.Well We hear at the club think that Architects have to have a little of that to come up with those unimagnable designs for buildings.Unpacking My Library provides an intimate look at the personal libraries of twelve of the world’s leading architects, alongside conversations about the significance of books to their careers and lives.” Through photographs of workspaces and bookcases (which we all love, right?) we get a glimpse of the architects lifestyle, personality, and intellectual leaning. Some of the architects included are Henry Cobb, Peter Eisenman, and Michael Graves. Each subject also provides a top ten of influential titles. Eisenman’s list features writing from Rem Koolhaas and James Joyce. This is a book to check out to get into the minds of thses architects to see what makes them tic so to speck.

Rags to Riches - Garment district story

RAGS TO RICHES
The Garment Dist. Story
I know everyone loves fashion from the clothes to the shoes to the accessories. But there is a big problem up brewing withing the NY fashion industry that will affect everyone. Alot of us are unaware that one day there might not be any garment district. Do to real estate pressures and new zoning laws alot of the garment industry business are being moved out and commercial businesses are moving in. Fashion HQ's and trimmers and suppliers have occupied the midtown area for over a century. You know without the garment district all these fabulous clothing lines we love, cherish and die for would not be prevalent. We need to all take account and save the garment district. Its a staple in NY's linage. If there was no garment district it would be like NY without soho. That would be crazy!!!! Well a documentary called Schmatta: Rags To Riches To Rags." is being made to signify the closing of the garment district. Check it out.

Gym Etiquette!!! Do You know it ?

Gym Etiquette

Ok socialites the club has been in the gym for almost 2 months now and everything is going great. The " Go Hard or Go Home" workout plan is working miracles. Oh yeah for 29.95 you to can have the "Go Hard or Go Home" workout plan and if you email me back right now you will get the new special price of Free.99 yes I said it Free.99!!! Well back to the gym, now in the gym do you have those people that just don't know gym etiquette. Now when I say gym etiquette I mean the sweaty individuals that don't wipe down the equipment when finished, people that use the cell phone while in the gym and finally smelly individuals in smelly clothes.

First lets tackle the clubs pet peeve which is cell phone usage inside the gym. We don't have a problem with using the cell phone inside the gym. But when it becomes a loud conversation or and argument please talk it outside or to the locker rooms. Don't you just hate when your focused on the bench or the treadmill and there is someone next to you smacking away on there phone with there ex- boy or girlfriend about who should get what and that its over. It is just very "tacky" ( i love this word it can be used so many ways). It just makes you look very stupid putting your business all out on front street. Keep the cell phone usage to a minimum or just leave the phone in the bag and concentrate on loosing that 10lbs.

Now for those sweaty individuals, OK I am one of those. I am sorry i don't feel like I have worked out if I don't get a good sweat on. It makes me feel like I did something in the gym today. But there are gym goers that are not considerate of others and leave machines all sweaty. That's not cool at all, no ones wants to lie in or touch your sweat. That's "DISGUSTING!!!" as my better half would say. Please just wipe down your equipment or bring your own towel to lay on or wipe down the equipment.

Ok lets just talk about personal hygiene when it comes to the gym. I know most of you think nobody ever will smell you in the gym.But your wrong there just some smells that can not be ignored in the gym. Ok I would say i do wear tights under my pants and wear them for 2 days but I do wash them after that. But there are alot of people that wear the same sweatshirt or t-shirt in the gym and carry that funky odor. So in that folks please wash your gym clothes when you feel they are carrying odor . Better yet go out and get more gym clothes so you don't have to wear the same thing twice.

These are the clubs gym etiquette rules, please take heed and follow them wisely. They will definitely help you out in the long run. The club has a little treat for you also. Here at the club we take club aesthetics very serious were you workout should be to your liking. But hey we know its a recession and we all can't afford all the immaculate amenities of these plush gyms. The breakfast club has a solution to that problem. Well atleast for 3 days, hey its better then nothing.

Tim Burton At MoMA

Tim Burton Animated Logo Spot for MoMa

Tim Burton

MoMa - Museum Of Modern Art

Nov. 22 - Apr. 26, 2010

This major career retrospective on Tim Burton (American, b. 1958), consisting of a gallery exhibition and a film series, considers Burton's career as a director, producer, writer, and concept artist for live-action and animated films, along with his work as a fiction writer, photographer and illustrator. Following the current of his visual imagination from early childhood drawings through his mature work, the exhibition presents artwork generated during the conception and production of his films, and highlights a number of unrealized projects and never-before-seen pieces, as well as student art, his earliest non-professional films, and examples of his work as a storyteller and graphic artist for non-film projects. The opposing themes of adolescence and adulthood, and the elements of sentiment, cynicism, and humor inform his work in a variety of mediums—drawings, paintings, storyboards, digital and moving-image formats, puppets and maquettes, props, costumes, ephemera, sketchbooks, and cartoons. Taking inspiration from sources in pop culture, Burton has reinvented Hollywood genre filmmaking as a spiritual experience, influencing a generation of young artists working in film, video, and graphics.

Burton's films include Vincent (1982), Pee-wee's Big Adventure (1985), Beetlejuice (1988), Batman (1989), Edward Scissorhands (1990), Batman Returns (1992), The Nightmare Before Christmas (as creator and producer) (1993), Ed Wood (1994), Mars Attacks! (1996), Sleepy Hollow (1999), Big Fish (2003), Corpse Bride (2005), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), and Sweeney Todd (2007); writing and Web projects include The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories (1997) and Stainboy (2000)

The Business Mans Uniform

The Business Mans Uniform

Everyday I am in the city and I see all men from all walks of life. They are from all corners of the earth and all boroughs in the city. I bet you would never think that all these men would have something in common. Yes they have to wear the business mans uniform "the suit". Yes the quenticential uniform for all occasions from work to going out. Now ask yourself why is he telling us this. Well I have one main gripe with these men and there suits. The lack of creativity when it comes to men wearing siuts now a days. From american to european men it seems like the all wear the very well known and worn Navy blue suit.Which has been worn to death. No matter the style pinstripe or plain it has been over done. With New york being the fashion capital on this side of the world you would think that men would have a better sense of style.
Well with the holiday season approaching us The Breakfastclub is here with open arms ready willing and able to help you all out. First lets me give you some knowledge on where to go. Jil Sander has opened boutique downtown in N.Y.C soho for all you stock market to lawywer boys. Her you can find a well tailored suit. The one stipulation is that you have bring yourself down there in person to be fitted. Yes these are costum made suits tailored to your body. Oh by the way if your a travling man you can also catch his store in Chi-town aka Chicago to. Ok back to the lesson at hand, lets go thru the custom-suit process. You choose from an array of suiting options (are you a two- or a three-button guy?) and 150 or so luxe fabrics, from wool to cashmere/silk blends. You get measured; then you sit back while your suit is handmade at the label's atelier in Milan. Four to six weeks later, you'll have a perfect-fitting suit, complete with a handstitched label bearing your name.
So here is The breakfast clubs first gift of the upcoming holiday season.
